Texts covered include the Greek Septuagint, the Latin Vulgate, the Quran, the Bible of the Old- and New-Testament Church (Biblia sacra), the Bible of the Eastern Orthodox Church, the Bible of the Roman Catholic Church (Biblia regia), Bible versions from the Protestant and Oriental Orthodox traditions, texts from the literatures of the Hebrew, Arabic, Persian, Turkish, and Chinese traditions.

And, then, there's the idea that we could be teaching in a digital environment that is changing the way we learn. An environment that is no longer tethered by the old ways of communication and distance learning.

It's an exciting time for teaching and learning in the classroom. It is changing the way we teach. It is changing the way we learn. It is changing how we engage with each other in a world that is becoming more digital. It can be great. It can be frustrating. It can be dangerous. It can also be very rich.

I think this is a great idea. I'm not sure, though, that I would call this a requirement. I would think that a good TA would want to become more familiar with the best in teaching and learning theory and practice. But, it could be viewed as a challenge to look to some famous teacher to get some of the best ideas and instructional methods.
