My chia seed drink is a great way to incorporate these healthy seeds into your diet. A chia seed drink is the perfect snack, since it has natural sugars that, combined with the fat and protein of the seeds, will hold you over for hours.
My wife and i found that you can sprinkle them on foods or cereals but grinding them fresh-1 tbspfirst in a spice grinder is better than putting them on whole. We usually buy Spectrum brand whole chiaseeds. You can buy them already ground but doing it yourself preserves nutrients.I make my own chia drinkwith one tablespoon soaked in 17 oz bottle-half water half juice for about an hour..
What is a good natural sweetened powdered drink mix that could be used in this Something that can be ordered in bulk. I live in Hawaii, so looking for something I can order from Amazon or another online retailer, the stores here are crazy expensive. A cherry flavor would be awesome. Thanks.
This recipe is amazing!! My mom has barely been able to eat lately, the Mamma Chia drinks are one of the only things she can drink. She is not the easiest to please right now, but she loves this recipe! It tastes just like the Mamma Chia drinks. I soak the chia in coconut water for the added electrolytes. Thank you for this wonderful and super easy recipe!
I tried this! I am in love with mamma chia, but it is WAY to expensive!!!! This recipe is amazing! It tastes just as good as mamma chia! I will now use mamma natural from now on!!! Thank You!!
Hi! i just recently bought chia seeds and mixed them with my drinking water. i just want to know how long I can keep this mixed drink without it becoming rancid. i made a mistake of pouring too much seeds in a gallon of water and I just cant consume it in a week. Can i still use the mixed drink in a month
The Mamma Chia Vitality drinks come in glass bottles, and they look almost like a solution of blended strawberries (only in different colors). This effect is due to the chia seeds, which sit in the liquid and give it a different texture than your average juice. And not to mention, many more health benefits!
I grew up drinking chia and I love that I can pass on this to my own kid. Thanks for sharing the Mamma Chia beverages, had never heard of them. Love all the variety of flavors. Definitely will buy next time.
Love your products. I bake a lot with the chia seeds and love your drinks especially the raspberry one. My kids all get excited when they get their own drink or pouches. I love that I can throw the pouches in my purse for a quick on the go snack and that they are healthy.
Now, chia is having a second life as the latest nutritional \"it\" item. Whole and ground chia seeds are being added to fruit drinks, snack foods and cereals and sold on their own to be baked into cookies and sprinkled on yogurt.
She bought some chia seeds online and, almost overnight, was sold on their benefits. \"I started incorporating it into everything I was eating,\" she said. \"Stir fries, yogurt, beverages -- there really wasn't anything in my kitchen that didn't have chia in it.\" In 2009, Hoffman developed fruit juices with chia seeds suspended in them. (Exposure to liquid gives the seeds a sticky, gelatinous coating, which is how they bond to the terra-cotta pets.)
Make a quick puree by simmering raspberries, a couple of tablespoons of water and a little bit of sweetener together. Both fresh or frozen raspberries work well for this recipe. At this point you could strain the puree but my feeling is that in a chia seed drink it really doesn't matter if there are raspberry seeds in there too! 59ce067264
