The season follows Izuku Midoriya and his classmates in their Hero Work-Studies, where they face off against the Shie Hassaikai group, with their mission is to stop them from creating a Quirk-Destroying Drug and save a little girl at the center of it. Meanwhile, two students of U.A. High attend a special Hero License Course, having failed their previous exam. Then, U.A. holds its annual School Festival and Class 1-A decides to have a dance performance with a live band in hopes to ease the public's doubt of their worth. Later, the new hero rankings was revealed after All Might's retirement.
In the gymnasium, Class 1-A is making their final preparations for their musical performance before the day of the school festival, with Mina working hard to have the dance choreograph precisely. In Heights Alliance, some of the students cannot sleep from how nervous and excited they are. Meanwhile, Izuku is again training with All Might when a scruffy Mei shows up and gives him the support equipment he requested: a pair of Air Force Gloves. She also made sure the design went with Izuku's hero costume. Izuku thanks her for making the gloves, and All Might is impressed by how compact they are. Izuku does the last minute preparations for the school festival and the chance to see Eri's smile. But he unexpectedly runs into Gentle and La Brava, who plan to begin their assault then. He recognizes them from the videos he's seen online, and both Gentle and La Brava recognizes Izuku from the sports festival. To prevent the school fest from being cancelled, Izuku decides to defeat them solo before the festival begins.
On the face of it, the anime doesn't sound too far removed from the X-Men and other Marvel or DC stories that revolve around wannabe superheroes. However, that comparison massively undersells this franchise which has achieved global success with both Kōhei Horikoshi's original manga and the anime that followed.
Luckily for you, we have taken up the responsibility, and have compiled the perfect watch order guide. Whether it is the release order that you want to stick to or the chronological order like the hardcore fan you are, we have them all.

My Hero Academia is a Japanese superhero manga series written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi. It has been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump since July 2014, with its chapters additionally collected in 37 tankōbon volumes as of February 2023.
It follows a quirkless boy Izuku Midoriya and how he backed the greatest Hero alive. Midoriya, a boy who has been admiring heroes and their ventures since the day he was born, came into this world without a quirk, where almost everybody is born with one.
On one fateful day, he meets All Might the greatest Hero of all time and discovers that he was quirkless as well. With his diligent attitude and unwavering spirit about being a hero, Midoriya manages to impress All Might. He is chosen to be the heir to the power of One for All.
Hawks uses his feathers to hold part of the debris and complains to Endeavor for cutting the building too roughly. Endeavor yells at him to stop complaining and reserve his strength for combat. Hawks replies that having used too many feathers, he now has trouble flying. High-End continues to regenerate his body but some heroes who had come to back up Endeavor begin to attack him. Annoyed by their interference, High-End releases several minor Nomu through the streets of the city to take care of them.
High-End attacks again with its transforming arms. Endeavor evades and charges up his flames into a single brilliant heat ray. The flame hero attacks with his ultimate move: Prominence Burn, burning Nomu's body to ash.
Everyone is horrified to see Endeavor being overwhelmed by the Nomu. Inside a taxi, Fuyumi and Natsuo watch in horror their father being defeated. At U.A. High School, several teachers and students are watching the broadcast of the battle. Toshinori grips at his stomach wound, worried for Endeavor. At Heights Alliance, some of Class 1-A are also watching the battle. Shoto is watching his dad being defeated on live television, and grits his teeth in frustration that his father is losing, remembering that his father promised to become the greatest Hero of them all.
The panic spreads among the citizens, who desperately try to escape, pushing and shoving in their panic to get away, while the security forces and various heroes try unsuccessfully to reassure them. The panic increases when High-End approaches them. As the news broadcast shows the civilians in hysteria, the reporter laments that all this is the result of not having a symbol.
At U.A. High School, Shota comes running into the Heights Alliance dorms to find Shoto already watching the battle along with the other 1-A students, still surprised that his father is losing the battle so easily. Suddenly, they hear someone on TV is screaming at the camera person to stop running their mouth. It turn out that the Endeavor fan from earlier interrupts the reporter as his friends try to restrain him. He calls out the TV crew for giving up on Endeavor, pointing out that his flames are still burning and telling the viewers to look as Endeavor is risking his life for them right now.
The battle creates a massive gust of wind which buffets the civilians. The reporter nervously details how Endeavor is still fighting even after all his struggling. As Enji's children watch him continue to fight, Shoto becomes more determined towards Endeavor's success as he thinks of Hiroshi's words on the news, clenching his fiery side's fist with the flames he inherited from him.
After remembering how much he hated his school motto, Endeavor uses his special move, \"PLUS ULTRA Prominence Burn\" to go beyond with his powers to burn away the Nomu. Everyone, witnesses and spectators, watch the intense fireball with suspense until Endeavor and High-End fall from it and crash down onto the ground with a fiery impact. When the flames and Smoke disperse, the Nomu is thoroughly incinerated and Endeavor stands up with one arm held high, striking a victorious pose.
The civilians react with joy at Endeavor's victory, as Hiroshi yells that Endeavor is standing, and it is a sign of his start. Toshinori Yagi, who was watching from the teacher's lounge, stares at the TV in disbelief. Shoto, surrounded by his classmates and homeroom teacher, squats down in relief. Izuku turns towards the television as he narrates that heroes cannot stop moving forward, and with All Might retired, the new generation of heroes must carry his will.

Stranger Things Season 4 was the TV event of the summer, setting a new viewership record for English-language TV shows on Netflix and introducing a new generation of kids to the music of Kate Bush and Metallica. But now we find ourselves in the early days of an off-season that could last for a couple of years, as creators the Duffer Brothers put together a suitably epic fifth and final season. We don't know exactly how long it will be until Stranger Things returns, but we know it will be a long time, so we've put together a super-sized list of shows and movies to watch while you wait for Season 5.
If Eleven as a telekinetic badass is your favorite part of Stranger Things, you should check out I Am Not Okay With This, which shares producers with Stranger Things and also features a telekinetic heroine at the center of its story. Set in the Rust Belt, the coming-of-age show follows Sydney (IT's Sophia Lillis), a young teen who is attempting to navigate the complexities of high school, her father's recent suicide, and her budding sexuality while also struggling to understand and control her newfound telekinesis, which is a not-so-subtle metaphor for the experiences of growing up. The show, which is based on Charles Forsman's comic of the same name, is more expansive and much lighter in tone than its source material, and therefore a lot more viewer friendly. Plus, the show has an awesome soundtrack and episodes are only 30 minutes long. You pretty much can't go wrong here. -Kaitlin Thomas
The city of Hawkins is central to Stranger Things' narrative because it's the location of the gate to the Upside Down, the alternate dimension that is home to all the monsters who've kept our heroes in prime fighting shape for three seasons. The isolated small town at the center of the French-Belgian thriller Black Spot (known in France as Zone Blanche) is equally important to its series' narrative, but in much creepier ways. The show follows a prosecutor who's arrived to investigate why the town has such a high murder rate, but what he -- and we -- quickly find out is that the forest surrounding the town is full of dark secrets, and it's all somehow related to the head of the local police, who is still trying to figure out what happened to her the night she was kidnapped and chained up in said forest. Suspenseful and atmospheric, Black Spot deftly mixes elements of the mythological with the tension of a great crime drama to create an eerie but highly bingeable series. -Kaitlin Thomas 59ce067264
